Agostino has acquired extensive experience in many areas of civil and commercial law, with a particular focus on innovation and technological applications, both in litigation and consultancy. In particular, he provides ongoing assistance to companies operating in the creative industries, as well as television and film productions and telecommunications.
Since 2010, he has been enrolled in the special register for legal aid before the Supreme Court of Cassation and other Superior Jurisdictions.
After graduating with honours from the University of La Sapienza in Rome in 1993, Agostino obtained a PhD in Private Law and Constitutional Guarantees from the same university. Since 2006, he has been a professor first of commercial law, and then, of intellectual property law at the University of L’Aquila.
From 2008 to 2011 he was a Professor of Commercial Law in the Economics degree course at La Sapienza and since 2004 he has been a lecturer at the Master in International Business Law at the same university.
He was President of Cartoon Italia (Association of Italian Animation Companies) in the years 2011 and 2012. From 2018 to 2022, he was a member of the SIAE Cinema Commission.
He is the author of numerous publications.
