(Italia Oggi)  In 2017, the Italian Stock Exchange ranked second in Europe in terms of raising of capital. Around 19 billion euro were raised through 39 separate transactions, 32 of which were initial public offers (ipo). Business lawyers – advisors for most of the transactions – are satisfied: according to big firms, a surge in the number of listed entities not only livens up the Italian stock market, but it is also a harbinger of increased transparency and professionalization of business managers, and leads to the rationalization of business and industrial procedures.
